The issues of the need to react to the imposed restrictions, the possible deterioration of the situation in several sectors of the economy were actively discussed. Politicians noted that, among other things, the actions planned by the United States may not have a better impact on the energy security of European countries.
It is worth noting that the issue of responding to changes in the economic situation in connection with sanctions was put on the agenda and became the main topic discussed by the collegiums of European Commissioners.
The head of the EC Jean-Claude Juncker noted the notification of the US representatives of the EU countries on the need to take into account the high probability of striking the economy of the countries of the Eurozone.
